The dressing was changed yesterday and the blisters have gone down and the burn itself looks much better (and smaller) than on day 1, with no sign of infection, so that's all good. She now has a protective dressing that remains on for 7 days to allow the area to heal fully. How many more times can she hurt that one hand???

That poor hand!
Yip, she's been at it again - injuring her right hand that is. This week we got a call from school to come and collect Taryn, as she had sustained a burn to the top of her right hand. Her class was working with hot melt glue guns and one child had basically leaned over Taryn with the gun, to pass it to another child and as he did so, glue poured from the gun and landed on Taryn's hand. So off to the emergency we went and who should she get, but the same doctor that saw her the last 2 times she injured herself. I'm wondering when we might get a call from the authorities regarding all her injuries! Photo to follow (if she will let me get one this time!)
